In the aftermath of the fire of Notre-Dame de Paris happened in April, now the pollution from the cathedral is problematic. “The fire … caused the fusion and the dispersion of about 400 tons of lead”[1]. For example, “On 25 July, two schools near Notre Dame, … , was closed …”[2]. On 8 August, the decontamination started “in the nursery and elementary schools of Saint-Benoît”[3].
It’s hard to imagine that Notre-Dame de Paris will be reconstructed as originally the French president Emmanuel Macron mentioned.
