The founder of Wikipedia Jimmy Wales[1] has been developing the platform WT.Social. As for the platform, he explained (in order to understand the basics, to read his 14 tweets is recommended as he tweeted “Please read this entire thread to understand it, and then please join.” on 7 November 2019[2]):

“This is an evolution of the concept of WikiTribune as I came to realize that the problem of fake news and low quality content is as much about social networks (facebook and twitter in particular) as it is about news sites.”[4]

This social media is, as he invented and developed Wikipedia which has been free and open encyclopedia, (almost[4.5]) “everything openly editable”[5] and cares about the business model that WT.Social is funded by those who are willing to pay[6]. On advertisement policy on social media, Jack Dorsey posted a series of tweets, on 31 October 2019, which begins with “We’ve made the decision to stop all political advertising on Twitter globally.”[7]. Twitter ceases both candidate and issue advertisements[8].

With regard to fake news, questioning whether a piece of information is fact or not, whether the source is faithful or not matters.

Polarized world and justice

In the polarized society where a president or prime minister is elected, the probability that in many cases the politics is not just for quite many is much higher. The polarization is basically the political ideology is different, but beyond the preference of political ideology, what matters is because of the difference of political ideology it can disadvantage those who weren’t in favor of the ruling party.

Rightness and power of questioning

Complete or absolute rightness doesn’t exist.

Teachers as well as what they teach doesn’t have absolute rightness.

Always questioning authority. Power would be better to be decentralized.

One can argue rightness by logic. However, when things occur, in many cases the occurrence is not caused by the logic which is explained after it.

It might be that the power of questioning that sustains the rightness of things, even though the rightness is not absolute. Just a thing (or an idea) which is underpinned or surrounded by what support, the rightness can be brought about. When time has passed, what have been supporting them occasionally collapses by, for example, the stronger or else. Whether it is right or not can always be not having right effect. Also it has to do with the context the rightness of a thing goes through. Absoluteness may be fiction, and rightness is artifact. Things are just things being there — which then needs to be discussed with reasoning, arbitrariness.
